First Pune Fashion Week
Pour assister ce week end à la première fashion week de Pune à l'hôtel Westin, tout récemment ouvert, il fallait soit faire partie de la short list des invités, soit attendre le premier journal pour être informé des dernières tendances présentées. Une dizaine de designers tout droit venus de Delhi, Mumbai ou d'ailleurs dans le pays, ont été selectionnés pour présenter leurs collections Printemps été 2010.
Inspirée par les années 80 pour Seena Singh, ou par le style français rococo pour Archana ou bien typiquement indienne pour Shaina NC...., chaque designer a fait preuve d'une grande créativité en proposant à chaque fois, un style et une histoire très différente.
Pour la plupart des designers, cette fashion week était très attendue : soit pour créer un buzz selon Salim, soit pour promouvoir la mode dans le retail (Seema Singh).
To be at the first Pune fashion week at the very new Westin hotel this week end, it was recommended to be an invited among the short list or to wait for the next newspaper to be aware of the last tendances wich was presented.
Ten desigers from Delhi, Mumbai or other towns all over the country have been selected to participate and show their Spring summer 's 2010 collections.
Inspired by the 80's for Seena Singh, or by the famous french rococo style for Archana, or totally indian for Shaina NC.... each one was unique in term of creativity and each story was very different.
For most of designers this first fashion week in Pune was really expected, either to create a buzz according to Salim, or to promote fashion into the retail business for Seema Singh.
